WAM Lima, Feb 14th, 2013 (WAM) -- Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar yesterday began a two-day official visit to Peru.

Qatari News Agency, QNA reported that Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and a high -profile delegation is accompanying the Emir.

The visit is a part of a journey to a number of countries in Latin America including Colombia and Ecuador.

During the visit Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa will hold talks with leaders and key officials of these countries regarding supporting bilateral relations and issues of mutual concerns.
