WAM Abu Dhabi, 18th Aug. 2012 (WAM) -- Hot weather in general and hazy at times during daytime, and partly cloudy over the eastern areas may towering over some mountains by Monday afternoon, the National Centre of Meteorology '&' Seismology (NCMS) said in its weather forecast report for Eid Al Fitr break.

''The winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times, causing blowing dust / sand and reducing horizontal visibility. Easterly - southeasterly, becoming northerly to northwesterly over some of western internal areas by late afternoon , becoming easterly to southeasterly by night and early morning,'' the NCMS said.

The relative humidity is likely to increase over some coastal areas especially westward during night '&' early morning.

Sea will be slight to moderate, with wave height 1 - 3 ft on coast and up to 5 ft offshore on Sunday and Monday.
