WAM Queensland, Aug 06th, 2012 (WAM) - The UAE Embassy in Australia continued to implement Iftar programme which is being sponsored by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation.

Iftar is the breakfast meal taken at the sunset during the holy month of Ramadan.

The charity programme is being implemented in cooperation with the Islamic Women's Association of Queensland (IWAQ).

Iftar receptions are attended by officials from various institutions and members of the Muslim community.
