The Ministerial Council for Services approves preparation of federal law on private schools

WAM Abu Dhabi, Jul 29th, 2012 (WAM)--The Ministerial Council for Services has approved the memo submitted to it by Minister of Education on preparation of the draft federal law on private schools based on the objectives of education in the state's general strategy.

Approved in a meeting chaired by H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the draft law aims to upgrade the quality of education, enhance the educational environment in the private schools, streamline the educational process, ensure the implementation of the best practices in private schools and link their feedbacks with the societal, economic and technological changes and encouragement of investment in the private education.

The memo refers to the impact of proposed draft law, which would help complement the educational system for both private and public education.
