RCA distributes Ramadan meals, food parcels at Aqsa Mosque and Refugee Camps in West Bank
WAM Jerusalem, Jul 29th, 2012 (WAM)--The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has implemented the first phase of its Ramadan Programme in the Palestinian territories.
It distributed in the first week of Ramadan thousands of meals and food parcels at Aqsa Mosque and to the needy Palestinian families in the camps.
Sheikh Aza'm Al Khateeb, Director of the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem said the RCA Ramadan Programme this year is comprehensive and covers all the areas that need humanitarian assistance.
The RCA has so far delivered since the first day of Ramadan to date at Aqsa Mosque 6, 000 meals. It also distributed hundreds of food parcels to the families of martyrs, orphans and injured.
