WAM Abu Dhabi, 25th July 2012 (WAM) -- The Zakat Fund announced that it offered about AED 1.9 million to deserving families of orphans during the first half of 2012.

Mohammed Al Balouchi, head of Zakat recipients affairs, said the money was distributed to 74 families under the Fund's orphan programme.
