DAMMAM: The first forum on investment and partnership in the GCC region was scheduled from August 28 to 30 in Oman.

The event is being organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in co-operation with the GCC Union of Trade Chambers.

The forum aims to provide a platform to bring together leading local, regional and international stakeholders to identify high-growth sectors, upcoming projects and key investment opportunities in Oman.

The forum will gather key decision makers including government officials, leading industry figures and the international business community at one united platform to facilitate the growth of Oman's economy.

The Key areas and topics of the event included: highlighting the attractions of investing in and trading with the Sultanate of Oman, updating on the development of Oman's knowledge economy and to provide a platform for the elaboration of some of Oman's leading megaprojects WAM/MMYS
