Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques calls for holding "Extraordinary Conference of Islamic Solidarity"

WAM Jeddah, July 22nd, 2012 (WAM) -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for holding of the Extraordinary Conference of Islamic Solidarity in Makkah next month.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs as saying that based on Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's keenness on serving Islam and Muslims and their unity, especially at this delicate time and the risks faced by the Islamic nation of the possibilities of fragmentation and discord while it needs unity, he has called for the holding of the Extraordinary Conference of Islamic Solidarity in Makkah on 26-27 of Ramadan AH, (14th and 15th August) praying to Allah that this conference will achieve the aspirations of the Islamic nation for the service of Islam and Muslims, and unity.
