Umm Al Qaiwain, Jul 08th, 2012 (WAM) -- UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain HH Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla attended today a ceremony held at the UAQ Cultural Centre to honour the top students who excelled in the higher secondary examinations.

The Ruler hailed the attention and care given to the country's educational development by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Ruler also lauded the great support given by the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of various emirates to develop education in the UAE.

Students who achieved excellent results in the science and humanities streams were honoured in the ceremony.
