Minister of Energy receives outgoing Japanese ambassador

WAM Abu Dhabi, July 8th, 2012 (WAM) -- Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hamili, Minister of Energy today received the out going Ambassador of Japan Tatsuo Watanabe who called on him today at his office in the ministry.

They reviewed the distinguished relations between two countries in oil and gas fields. The UAE is considered one of the strategic partners of Japan in exporting crude oil and Liquefied natural gas or LNG.

Al Hamili, wished the outgoing Japanese ambassador good luck in his future assignment.

For his part, the Japanese ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude for the cooperation he received during his stay in UAE and hailed the strong bilateral relations between the two sides particularly in the energy area.
