WAM Western Australia, July 5th, 2012 (WAM) -- The Premier of Western Australia, Colin Barnett and UAE Ambassador to Australia Ali Nasser Al Nuaimi in a meeting have discussed bilateral relations particularly in the field of trade, investment and ways to encourage businessmen of both sides to establish joint development projects.

The ambassador also highlighted the strength and depth of bilateral relations between the two countries as Australia has become an important trade partner of the UAE over the past few years.

For his part, Colin Barnett hailed the distinguished relations between the UAE and Australia. He also noted the importance of strategic partnerships between the two countries, especially in food security, oil and gas sectors.
