WAM DUBAI: Dubai's Community Development Authority has honored Carol Canning for being instrumental in introducing "Sailability" to Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC).

Carol coordinates all aspects of the programme both onshore and out on the water, making a huge difference not just for the club, but for the entire Sailing Community in Dubai.

Canning is among the Volunteers for Sailability, a non-profit volunteer organisation of the Royal Yachting Association, to help hundreds of people with disabilities.

Director General of the Authority Khaled Al-Kamdah expressed appreciation for Canning's efforts to enable the disabled who became regulars at the club.
