WAM Sana'a, July 2nd, 2012 (WAM) -- The UAE Red Crescent Authority team led by Suhail Rashid Al Qadhi has distributed food packets and other necessary daily use items among 500 needy families in Sana'a for the second consecutive day.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency "WAM", Director of Red Crescent office in Yemen Khalfan Al-Kindi said that the UAE RCA's teams in coordination with the Yemen Red Crescent continued their activities for the second day in a row.

He stressed that the drive comes in line with the implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Authority.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and hailed President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his generous support.
