Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, crown prince of Fujairah has expressed appreciation over the efforts exerted in organising such an important event, which addresses the vital topic of Energy, being one of the most important factors in Human Security.
He thanked Azeri President Ilham Aliyev for his great hospitality, indicating that he is honored to be here representing the Emirate of Fujairah in UAE.
"Fujairah is filled with the great potential for development in the 21st century, where we are taking every endeavor to carry out very consistent policies and progressive reforms of economic, fiscal and legal on the path of development, putting foreign investment top of the agenda, creating an outward looking economy in an interconnected international economy, aiming to ensure the Emirate of Fujairah in particular and the UAE in general as havens of economic and political tranquility and stability in a troubled world," the Fujairah Crown Prince added.
It is essential to highlight within this context, he continued, that the size of the pipelines from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah plus the cost and time savings of routing Abu Dhabi oil via the giant port of Fujairah, will enable strategically locate Fujairah as a one of the most important World Energy and logistic hubs.

Tomorrow in my speech I will be very pleased to address you on the crucial topic of human security, departing from the familiar dichotomy between security as the defense of states and security as a personal right", he said.
