WAM Western Region, Jun 28th, 2012 (WAM)-- H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Western Region has underlined the interest of the UAE leadership to meet the requirements of citizens in Western Region.

He told the citizens at Al Mezairaa Palace in Liwa that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan had instructed him and other officials in the region, to focus on meeting the needs of citizens. Sheikh Hamdan urged them to make summer programmes for the youth during the summer holidays to keep them busy and sharpen their skills during their spare times.

He also listened to their ideas on the coming 8th edition of the Liwa Date Festival on July 18th, under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

For their part, the citizens praised the directives of the UAE President, reiterating that this will further motivate them to work harder.
