WAM Abu Dhabi, June 25th, 2012 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by Outer Areas Police Department, has opened a criminal investigation office at Mafraq Hospital.
The new office aims at enhancing cooperation and mutual goals between Mafraq Hospital which is operated by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), and Abu Dhabi Police. It represents a successful project as an outcome of the fruitful cooperation between both parties, aiming at promoting the quality of services, productivity and performance via facilitating the legal and health procedures for injured patients.
In this respect, Lt. Col. Jasim Ali Al Hossani, Head of Investigation Affairs at the Outer Areas Police Department, said: "The �Office' has started to offer services for 24/7, registering declarations and domestic injuries to enhance the quality of services through facilitating and minimizing procedures for the hospital's patients." He pointed out that such cooperation will promote police performance and activate social reach.
For his part, Khalifa Al Kaeli, Director of Patients Affairs at Mafraq Hospital, praised the cooperation project between Mafraq Hospital and Abu Dhabi Police, confirming that it is not the first cooperation, "Both, Abu Dhabi Police and Mafraq Hospital share a common goal to offer high quality services for the same community. Hence, such a goal requires joint efforts to offer the best services for the community," he said.
"Mafraq Hospital receives the injured to treat," added Al Khaeli, "Then the Investigation Office at the Hospital will finalize the legal procedures, without the need to go to the investigation offices at the police stations," he clarified.
First Lt. Adel Al Khodor Al Braiki, Director of Cases Deposition and Investigation Section at the Investigation Affairs Division at the Outer Areas Police Department and the Supervisor of the Investigation Office at Mafraq Hospital, said: "The moment the declared injured patient finalizes the health treatments, he will submit to the Investigation Office at the Hospital to finalize his legal procedures. Otherwise, if the patient's health requirements dictate, police investigators from the Office visit the patient's ward to finalize the procedures needed." WAM/ES/AM
