WAM Abu Dhabi, Jun 24th, 2012 (WAM) - Under the patronage of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union and of the Family Development Foundation, the Symposium on Children's Rights will begin at the GWU headquarters in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The Symposium, organised by the GWU in association with the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies, will discuss a number of important areas including the features of the UAE's National Strategy of Motherhood and Childhood.

The Symposium will also review various legislations on the local and national levels regulating the protection of children.
