WAM Al Ain June 24th, 2012 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan has hailed President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his care in the comprehensive development march of the country and the achievements in various fields.

He made these remarks during his tour to 'Al Maqam' Area for the new headquarters of United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He said that Higher Education sector in particular and education in general have witnessed enormous growth thanks to the extra care lent by the President.

He also lauded the efforts of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his continuous support for the various developmental projects including in the educational march.

He commended H. H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and his permanent support for education sector in all its stages particularly higher education which has achieved major and remarkable advancement in recent years.

He also lauded the great role that UAEU plays in preparing qualified national cadres in all scientific areas in order to fulfill the requirement of the rapidly growing projects in the country.
