Zayed Foundation delegation inspects maintenance work of housing units for Emirati families in UAQ

WAM Abu Dhabi, June 10th, 2012 (WAM) -- Under the chairmanship of Director-General of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Ahmed Shabib Al Dhahiri, the Foundation delegation visited a number of emirates in the country to inspects the pace of maintenance work to citizens' houses in Umm al Qaiwain aiming at ensuring decent life for low income families.

The delegation who was briefed on the maintenance work, urged for rapid implementation of the project in order to ensure better life for the families.

After the tour, Ahmed Shabib Al Dhahiri said the maintenance of housing units is funded by The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable '&' Humanitarian Foundation and it comes in lines with the guiding principles of the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for ensuring dignified life for the citizens and with the support from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and with the follow up from H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the philanthropic organization and H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

He also referred to the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable '&' Humanitarian Foundation board of trustees who have decided to endorse AED 10 million for implementing the refurbishing program of housing units for low income families across the country in accordance with the followed criteria and priorities of the foundation.
