WAM Occupied Jerusalem, Jun 09th, 2012 (WAM)--Over 500 sick and needy Palestinians have benefited from the medical day sponsored by Human Appeal International UAE at expense of an Emirati philanthropist.

Ibrahim Rashid, Director of Human Appeal International UAE's office in Western Bank said hundreds of sick Palestinians had poured into the medical centre at Village near Al-Khalil City (Hebron) to receive the treatment.

He added that 500 sick Palestinians who suffered from internal diseases, toothache, bone diseases, nerve disease and other cases which required surgery intervention, received the treatment. He added the medical campaign, which is funded by Emirati philanthropist, will cover all the Palestinian Provinces.

For his part, al- Sheikh Hatem Al Bakri, Head of the Islamic Charity Society in Hebron thanked the UAE leadership, government, people, philanthropists and charity bodies for their continuous support to the Palestinian people in all fields.
