WAM Sila, Jun 07th, 2012 (WAM)--H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region said President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan takes interest in developing Western Region.

He added the development process in Western Region is being followed up by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sheikh Hamdan reiterated that the provision of decent life and stability for citizens in remote areas, top priorities in the comprehensive development strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Hamdan made the remarks, while visiting Sila town in Western Region, where he met the citizens and assessed their conditions. He also assessed the work progress in the service sector.

He added that the plans and programmes of Abu Dhabi government in Western Region include the educational, economical, tourism and heritage projects.

Sheikh Hamdan listened to the views of citizens in Sila and ordered meeting of their demands. They expressed their pleasure of meeting Sheikh Hamdan, stressing his keenness on communication with citizens in Western Region.
