WAM Abu Dhabi, 6th June 2012 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received this evening a telephone call from Yemen's President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, during which he paid gratitude to Sheikh Khalifa for allocating AED 500 for purchasing emergency food assistance to Yemeni people.

The Yemeni head of state said the humanitarian gesture and noble stances of Sheikh Khalifa underline the deep-rooted bonds that link the two brotherly countries and peoples.

He also hailed the UAE's constant support for Yemeni people.
