ABU DHABI: The UAE is taking part in the third annual international conference of high-ranking security officials scheduled on 7 June in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The UAE will be represented to the 2-day conference by Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Al-Shamsi.

The conference will be discussing information security and international energy security, free exchange of information, respect to sovereignty and their standing cultural and historical specificity of states as well as combating piracy within national, regional and international security plans.
