Abu Dhabi, 6 June 2012 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Foundation for Charitable '&' Humanitarian Works (ZFCHW) met here today with Ahmed Shabib Al Dhaheri, Director General, and heads of the Foundation's departments.

During the meeting which was attended by former Director Salem Obaid Al Dhaeri, Sheikh Nahyan reviewed the achievements made recently by the Foundation both in the UAE and abroad.

Sheikh Nahyan emphasised the importance of intensifying ZFCHW's activities to cover more beneficiaries from needy families.

Salem Al Dhaheri said under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Gen. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the ZFCHW made huge achievements in provision of aid and housing services. He referred to a project for houses maintenance in Dubai and the northern regions of the UAE.

Al Dhaheri also mad a presentation on the "Zayed Academy for Fiqh", a US$ 10 million project developed by ZFCHW in collaboration with the IOC's International Fiqh Academy.

Sheikh Nahyan toured the Foundation headquarters and stopped at the library, meetings hall and projects hall.
