SHARJAH: H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah has inaugurated the Samsung Medison Ultrasound Training Center at the University of Sharjah's Clinical Training Center.

During a tour to the state-of-the-art center, Sheikh Sultan was briefed on the training on the courses which are designed to address the needs of clinicians with interest in diagnostic ultrasound that seek additional knowledge and practice in recent Obstetric Sonographic developments.

The focus of this course is on Doppler Ultrasound, 3D/4D Ultrasound, Fetal Heart, Congenital Fetal Anomalies.

The new center is the largest of its kind in West Asia and Africa.

A presentation on Samsung corporation, Industry-leading manufacturer of diagnostic ultrasound systems, was given during the tour.

Sheikh Sultan also attended the signing ceremony of an agreement between Samsung Medison and the University of Sharjah's Medical and Health Sciences Colleges Campus.
