President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan accompanied the distinguished guest to Al Rawdah Palace in Al Ain city, where the Lebanese president was greeted by with Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He also met with H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior , H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Executive Council Member, Dr. Sheikh Saeed bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, other sheikhs and senior officials.

Sheikh Khalifa was introduced with the members of delegation accompanying the Lebanese president. Farah Al Khateeb, Charge D'affaires of Lebanese Embassy was also present on the occasion.

The Lebanese president presented The National Order of the Cedar to Sheikh Khalifa to express the strong fraternal relations between the two countries.

President Khalifa expressed thanks and gratitude for the Lebanese leader and wished progress and prosperity for the people of Lebanon.
