WAM Abuja, Jun 01st, 2012 (WAM)--UAE Ambassador to Nigeria Rashid Nasser Al Dhahiri has hosted at his residence in the Nigerian Capital, Abuja, the monthly meeting of the Arab ambassadors to Nigeria.

The UAE envoy welcomed the ambassadors, wishing success to the new envoys who have just commenced their tenure in the country.

The meeting discussed the political and security issues in the host country, as well as the Arab diplomatic issues in relation to the Nigerian government.

Al Dhahiri, who is also Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, said the envoys agreed over the issues presented in the meeting. At the sideline of the meeting the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States' ambassadors discussed the latest developments in the region.
