UAE's speech catches attention of participants at Arab- Sino Cooperation Forum in Tunisia

WAM Tunis, Jun 01st, 2012 (WAM)--The speech delivered by Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, UAE Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development at the fifth Ministerial Conference of the Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum, hosted by Tunisia from May 29- 31, has been received well by the heads of delegates.
The UAE speech included clear visions on the latest developments in the Arab region, focusing on the Syrian Crisis, Palestinian Issue and the UAE three Islands occupied by Iran. Al Owais referred to peaceful stance adopted by the UAE to settle the problem through calling on Iran to heed the UAE calls to resolve the issue amicably either through bilateral talks or the International Court of Justice.
Some speeches delivered by the Arab delegates also addressed the issue of the UAE three Islands, stressing their support to the UAE endeavours to retrieve the Islands.
Themed: "Deepen the strategic cooperation and promote common development", the event was attended by Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki, among others.
