Preparations for Dubai International Symposium for Sports and Technology completed

WAM Dubai, Jun 01th, 2012 (WAM)--Dubai Sports Council has completed its preparations for the launch of three-day long sessions of the Dubai International Symposium for Sport and Technology, organised by the Council under the theme: "Technological Applications for the Development of Athletic performance".
The sessions will kick off from Monday to Wednesday, in cooperation with the American University in the UAE, which will host the events at its headquarters in the Dubai Academic City with participation of elite of local academics specialised in the field of technology, experts and owners of pilot experiences in this vital area of the sports sector.
Experts who will supervise over of the seminar are expected to arrive this evening to Dubai, led by Dr Paul Collins, a British and Dr Bonnie Mohansen, an American.
Ahmed bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment will open the symposium with a lecture in which he will present the summary of his vast experience in the technology area.
