WAM Dubai May, 31st, 2012 (WAM)-- A delegation of Statistics and Information Technology Sections of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs was briefed today on the best statistical practices and technical achievements of the Dubai Statistics Centre's (DSC).

The move comes within the framework of activating cooperation among the governmental agencies, and exchanging technical statistical expertise in the statistical and technological areas.

During the visit, the DSC presented its experience in the statistical link for electronic statistical system in Dubai, as well as the electronic data flow mechanism to enable customers deal directly with database using modern technical statistical tools.

Arif Obaid Al Muhairi, CEO of DSC stressed to the delegation led by Suad Mohammed Al Suwaidi, chairperson of the Statistics Section at the Ministry, the exchange of successful experiences between the statistical centres and the governmental agencies.
