WAM Abu Dhabi, 31st May 2012 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, today lauded President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for lending proper attention to voluntary movement as a partner in nation building and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his close follow up to the progress of the deeply entrenched voluntary work.

Sheikh Hamdan also credited H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Presidential Aviation Authority and Chairman of board of trustees of the recently launched ''We are All Emirates Society'' which he said would have a leading role in serving the nation and its citizens.

Sheikh Hamdan made his remarks as he welcomed at his Mazairah Palace chairman and member of the Society. During the meeting, Sheikh was briefed by Chairman of Society Major General Mohammed Salim bin Kardous Al Ameri on values, mission and vision of the new social movement whose prime objective is to instill and promote the spirit of loyalty and belonging - across emirates - to the motherland and raise children positively to become key drivers for development and strengthening bonds of love, cohesion and solidarity among different spectrum of of local society.

Sheikh Hamdan also learned about the role the Society plays in prodding citizens to shoulder national responsibility, train citizens to manage emergencies and crises, organise events and awareness campaigns on UAE's achievements, culture and history.
