UAE participates in ILO meeting in Geneva
WAM Geneva, May 30th 2012 (WAM) -- The UAE is participating in the 101st session of the International Labour Conference started today in Geneva at ILO's headquarter.
More than 4000 delegates from the ILO's 185 Member States are to attend the 101st session of the International Labour Conference which will run from 30 May to 15 June. Each Member State of the ILO is represented by a delegation consisting of two government delegates, an employer delegate, a worker delegate and their respective advisers Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour is leading a UAE delegation and will attend the main session which will be held on June 6th with the attendance of a number of Presidents, Ministers of Labour and Manpower of the members of the organizations.
UAE delegation includes leaders, experts and technicians from Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Social Affairs and (Tanmia), the National Human Resource Development '&' Employment Authority as well as representatives of the Federation of U.A.E Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
