GCC leaders are keen to boost economic and development ties, Al-Zayani

WAM Riyadh, May 30th, 2012 (WAM) -- Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has underscored leaders' keenness to boost economic and development ties among the member states.
In his statement which was delivered on his behalf by Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs Abdullah Bin Juma Al-Shibli before Ministerial Committee Meeting of Board Chairmen of GCC Securities Regulators he referred to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's proposal during the 32nd GCC summit of the Supreme Council in Riyadh to move from the cooperation stage to the Union stage.
The 32nd GCC summit of the Supreme Council had stressed on the important of relentless efforts on achieving economic integration among GCC states.
