Municipality of Abu Dhabi City shares marketing '&' corporate communication practices with ADCO
WAM Abu Dhabi, May 30th, 2012 (WAM) -- The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, recently received a delegation from Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) aimed at strengthening relations, boosting cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of marketing '&' corporate communication.
Mubarak Saif Al Mazroo'ee, Acting Director of Marketing '&' Corporate Communication Office at the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, welcomed the delegation which was led by Mohammed Omair Al Mansouri, Director of Government Affairs and included Humaid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Head of Government Relations Team; and Jasim Mubarak Al Muraikhi, Senior Supervisor of Government Relations, as members.
Al Mazroo'ee elaborated the evolution of the municipal work systems in Abu Dhabi Emirate along with the developments seen by the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City since inception in 1962, and how it remained a driving force of the urban transformation process throughout the development years.
"The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City shoulders the responsibility of ensuring the implementation of all aspects of Abu Dhabi Plan 2030 i.e. the vision of Abu Dhabi Government for the capital city of the UAE, which is being implemented with the aim of nurturing a sustained as well as socially '&' economically coherent community, besides maintaining its unique cultural legacy. The Municipality therefore remains committed and focused on improving the facilities of the city, introducing cutting-edge technologies, broadening the scope of service offering, and capitalizing on its human resources," he said.
Al Mazroo'ee detailed the roles '&' objectives of the Marketing '&' Corporate Communication Office at the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City based on those principles.
"The Marketing '&' Corporate Communication Office is the communication link between the Municipality's community members '&' organizations. It is the body tasked with the showcasing of the role, policies, plans and achievements of the Municipality through all available means, in cooperation with various divisions and sections. It also probes the public feedback about municipal services offered, and submits suggestions '&' views to assist the decision-making process," he added.
The delegation heeded to a detailed elucidation of the roles '&' responsibilities of Corporate Communication, Events, Marketing and e-Marketing Sections carried out in conformity with the Vision of the Municipality aimed at ensuring a superior living and sustainable environment for Abu Dhabi residents in keeping with its drive to offer best-in-class municipal services.
For his part Mohammed Omair Al Mansouri, Head of the visiting delegation, commended the achievements and development efforts of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City spanning various aspects of municipal works. He reiterated ADCO's commitment to step up the cooperation with the Municipality, exchange expertise and familiarize with the successful practices '&' models.
At the end of the meeting, Al Mazroo'ee and Al Mansouri exchanged mementos.
