WAM ABU DHABI: Male and female students from the Abu Dhabi University (ADU) and 16 countries on Thursday will give different traditional performances as part of the annual Global Day celebrations.

The performances will feature traditional ceremonies from different parts of the world, depicting the various valued traditions and customs from different cultures, as well as traditional dances, and bejeweled ethnic-wear from Jordan, South Korea, Morocco, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Mexico, Iraq, Turkey and Gulf countries.

Traditional Emirati dances will take the centre-stage at the event to highlight the local wedding ceremonies.
