WAM Abu Dhabi, 29 May 2012 (WAM) - The Interior Ministry handed today citizenship documents to 56 candidates in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman who are born to Emirati mothers.

Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Interior Ministry's Assistant Under Secretary for Naturalisation '&' Residency congratulated the candidates who became citizens following a decision by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to grant children with Emirati mothers citizenship.

The documents were handed to 20 citizens in Dubai, 22 in Sharjah and 14 in Ajman.
