WAM Moroni, Comoros Islands, May 29th (WAM) -- The speaker of Comoros Islands Parliament Bourhane Hamidou has conferred National Recognition Medal on Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) in appreciation of their humanitarian work in the flood-hit areas.

Juma Al Kuwaiti chairman of the Emirati team received the medal on behalf of the KZHF.

Speaker Bourhane Hamidou affirmed his country's respect and appreciation for UAE's leadership and people for 'The humanitarian relief project' implemented by KZHF during the floods in the country.

He also lauded President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's role in supporting his country as well as his charitable works around all Arab and Islamic countries. He also hailed KZHF team's relief efforts in flood affected areas.
