Sharjah receives 25, 000 Kuwaiti tourists in 2011

WAM Sharjah, May 27th, 2012 (WAM)--Mohammed Ali Al Noman, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority(SCTDA) has said the Emirate of Sharjah received over 25, 000 tourists last year.

He stressed the significance of tourism promotion tour being conducted by the SCTDA across the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC). "It comes at a time the tourism sector in the Emirate of Sharjah is experiencing a quality shift regarding the promotional strategies in addition to setting up of important tourism projects that will highlight the status of Emirate in the regional and international tourism map." Al Noman said that the Emirate of Sharjah has become one of the favourite tourist destinations for many tourists worldwide to attend many sessions organised by the SCTDA.
