WAM Dubai, May 27th, 2012 (WAM)--The Board of the General Pensions and Social Security Authority held its 24th meeting today chaired by H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE minister of Finance and the Board Chairman in presence of all the Board members.

The Board was briefed about the resolutions from the sub committees and also discussed exceptional pension applications. It took a number of decisions. The Board discussed the regulations and the proposed human resources procedures. It ordered amendment and submitting them to the Cabinet for endorsement It endorsed the final accounts for 2011 and decided to refer them to the Cabinet for endorsement. The Board also endorsed the account of the first quarter for year 2012 . It was briefed about the initial report of the State Audit Institution and instructed tackling of some observations referred to thereof.
