WAM Abu Dhabi May 26th, 2012 (WAM) -- UAE will host a technical workshop to view the Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) experience in establishing the Electronic Certification Centre (ECC) within the "Digital ID'' project.

Top officials of the GCC steering committee for ID smart cards will attend the the workshop which will be held next Monday in Abu Dhabi for two days.

The GCC delegates will visit the e-gate operations centre and Abu Dhabi International Airport to see how the GCC ID cards are used in e-gates.
