UAE envoy in Tripoli presents his credentials to Chairman of the Libyan National Transitional CouncilMay 24, 2012 - 06:21 -
WAM Tripoli, May 24th, 2012 (WAM)--UAE Ambassador to Libya Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi presented here today his credentials to Adviser Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the National Transitional Council.
The UAE envoy conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to Abdul Jalil and the Libyan people, stressing keenness of the UAE leadership to bolster the existing relations between the two countries.
In his turn, the Chairman of the National Transitional Council conveyed his regards to the UAE President, Vice President and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince , wishing them good health and prosperity to the UAE people.
Abdul Jalil thanked the UAE leadership for the support during the revolution to date, expressing his willingness to benefit from the successful experience of the UAE to build the new Libya. He welcomed the UAE investments in all sectors in Libya.
For his part, the ambassador Al Kaabi expressed his gratitude about good hospitality and pleasure about his appointment as a UAE envoy in Libya, adding that he would exert utmost efforts to upgrade the relations between the two countries.
