WAM Western Region, 23 May 2012 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, lend consistent support and care for development of the Western Region, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, affirmed today.

''Provision of decent, stable life to the UAE citizens and development of far-flung regions take top priorities at the overall strategic development in Emirate of Abu Dhabi,'' Sheikh Hamdan said during a visit to Ghyathi where he met citizens to get assured of their conditions and inspect progress of work in vital services projects.

''The State will forge ahead with its plans to develop economic, financial and human resources and the development of the Western Region incorporates our ambitions to enable all regions across the Emirates live up to the expectations and aspirations of our leaders and citizens,'' he added.

Sheikh Hamdan interacted with the citizens and lent an ear to their views on public services provided to them and their needs. He gave instructions to the local authorities concerned to satisfy their demands and remove obstacles hindering their comfort and stability.
