WAM Abu Dhabi, May 22nd, 2012 (WAM)--The Conference on "Strengthening Debt Capital Markets in the Arab Word", will kick off on Wednesday here at the Beach Rotana Hotel from May 23- 24.

The Arab Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank are jointly organising the event in cooperation with the Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The opening remarks will be delivered by Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, UAE Central Bank Governor, Dr Jassim Al Mannai, Director General, Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund and other keynote speakers.
