WAM Dubai, May 20th, 2012 (WAM) -- The Ministry of Health continued the electronic connections of the e-dirham gate in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
The step follows the efforts of the ministry of health to raise its electronic services and implement the requirements of the federal governments as well as its strategic plan to achieve customer satisfaction and save time and efforts.
The Ministry of Health has lately launched the electronic payment services of the nursing registration and licensing, nursing, birth and deaths systems. The ministry's customers may benefit from these services in paying the required fees of their transactions through safe channels and the electronic payment system which is available on the ministry's website through using an electronic dirham, master or visa cards.
Two years ago, the Ministry of Health launched the nursing registration and licensing system and added the electronic payment possibilities to complete the automation procedures and at the same time manage nursing services electronically.
The electronic gate system provides the visitors of the nursing department in the ministry to complete their services electronically beginning with the registration of their application followed by the electronic communication by email and continue their transactions by booking a seat for assessment exams, fees collection and issuance of the registration certificate.
The central nursing department provides its services for a large number of visitors and aims for completing the registration procedures and assessment exams for about 80 nurses every week. The system also enables the nurses either to register or renew their licensing procedures easily and quickly without the need to visit the ministry personally.
