Mansour bin Zayed receives Manchester City Coach after winning English Premier League TitleMay 16, 2012 - 08:05 - WAM Abu Dhabi, May 16th, 2012 (WAM)-- H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Owner of Manchester City Football Club received in his office yesterday Roberto Mancini, Coach of Manchester City FC, John MacBeath, interim chief executive officer of Manchester City Football Club, administrative and training staff.
Present were Khaldoun Al Mubarak, chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Board Chairman of Manchester City FC and Brian Marwood, Football Administrator at Manchester City FC.
Sheikh Mansour commended the historic achievement of Manchester City FC of clinching English Premier League trophy, lauding the role of coach Mancini and players. He added that he was sure the team would win the title given outlined ambitious plans.
For his part, Mancini referred to huge support from Sheikh Mansour, which had made qualitative shift that led to the winning of Premier League title. "The support of Sheikh Mansour at times of victories and defeats had helped the team to score the target at the end of season for the first time in 44 years." The meeting was also attended by Ahmed Jumaa Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Rashid Al A'meri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs for Government Coordination Sector.
