Abu Dhabi to host third Indo-Arab Partnership conference 22 May

WAM ABU DHABI: A large number of Arab and Indian companies confirmed their participation in the 3rd Arab-India Partnership Conference which will be held in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs-UAE, The League of Arab States, and Indian Ministry of External Affairs-India in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce '&' Industry, Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce '&' Industry, General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry '&' Agriculture, Federation of Arab Businessmen.
Economy ministers of ten Arab countries and India, heads of major Indian and Arab companies will take part in the conference which runs between 22 - 23 May 2012.
The conference aims to explore the opportunities for the Arab world to further deepen and re-define its economic and cultural relations with India.
Trade between Arab countries and India exceeded US$74 billion by the end of 2011. Arab investments, by Gulf countries in particular, went up to US$ 125 during the past two years, according to a press release by the organizers.
