WAM Dubai, May 16th, 2012 (WAM) -- Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as the Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, has issued a decision ratifying the regulatory bylaw on the sports institutions and clubs in Dubai.

The bylaw has been designed to implement the law No. 11/ Year 2009, which was issued by UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to commensurate with the new requirements and developments in the sports sector.

The decision No.8/ Year 2012 issued by the crown prince, consists of15 articles pertaining to all aspects of work, beginning from the formulation of a club and its board of directors, as well as its powers and functions up to the executive administration of the clubs including regulation of technical, administrative and financial functions.
