WAM Abu Dhabi, May 14th, 2012 (WAM) -- The UAE is participating in the GCC Radio and Television Festival, which begins today in Bahrain.

The delegates from GCC states are taking part in the event.

The UAE delegation is led by Abdullah Al Junaibi, Adviser at National Media Council for TV and Radio Cooperation in addition to representatives of the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah TV.

Al Junaibi stressed that participation in this outstanding festival will contribute in boosting cooperation between the official Gulf television and radio institutions and of productive enterprises in the private sector, ultimately affecting positively in marketing GCC work in the region for the next season.
