Sharjah, 13 May 2012 (WAM) - His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah received today delegations of Arab children taking part in the 11th Sharjah Forum, being held under his patronage and his wife, H.H. Sheikha Jawahir bint Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Supreme Family Affairs Council.

This year's forum coincides with the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Children and Girls Centres in Sharjah.

Sheikh Sultan welcomed the children and wished them a pleasant stay in the UAE.

"At this age, the children should realize their importance as individuals in their respective communities who can use their knowledge and forward thinking to serve their countries," he said.

He urged the children to use the modern technology in a smart way to further increase their knowledge.

"Each child should have own dream and should have a role model to look up to from intellectuals, scientists and inventors. Every child must plan ahead to realize their dreams." The delegation members thanked Sheikh Sultan for his efforts and support to the development and welfare of Arab children.
