Saudi Arabia voices absolute support for UAE's sovereignty over its three islands
2012-05-10 19:43:35
WAM Sharm El Sheikh, 10th May 2012 (WAM) -- Saudi Arabia today asserted its absolute support for UAE's sovereignty over its three islands, occupied by Iran.

Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multi-lateral Affairs, demanded, in his address before the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial Meeting, Iran to respond to the UAE's call for finding a peaceful and just settlement to the issue of the three islands (Greater and lesser Tunbs and Abu Musa) either through bilateral negotiations or recourse to the international Court of Justice.

The Saudi top official tackled in his address other issues in the Middle East including Israeli occupation of Palestine, and latest developments in Syria, Sudan and South Sudan.
